What Is a South Coast Compliance Membership?
We have developed a Membership scheme to help our customers meet their requirements and save money. A Membership simply assists your business to meet certain compliance obligations under health, safety, environmental and further associated legislation by providing a group of services into one package.
Why Do I Need a Membership?
As an employer you have a legal duty under The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 to appoint someone competent to help you manage your health and safety duties. Any disruption to these duties could have disastrous consequences including loss of production, loss of customers, loss of reputation and loss of employee morale.
We understand that some businesses cannot afford to employ a permanent full-time health & safety position and therefore a SCC Membership is a cost-effective solution to overcome the problem.
How Will A Membership Help Me?
Our Membership is designed to assist busy business owners and managers to stay in control of a wide range of compliance requirements, leaving you free to get on with running your business. It is also an affordable alternative to employing your own, in house specialists.
If you are applying for any industry specific accreditations such as, CHAS, Constructionline, Achilles or applying for tenders and select lists you will be able to forward a copy of your SCC Membership certificate and a copy of your assigned Consultants CV & Qualifications.
What does A Membership offer?
There are four packages to choose from, all of which contain some great features with an option to suit all. By subscribing to one of our Membership Packages, you will receive ongoing support from industry professionals with years of practical experience.
We understand one size does not fit all, which is why we offer the platinum package. This allows us to create a bespoke service tailored to your individual requirements, no matter your size or the complexity of your needs, SCC has a package for you.

Our Platinum Level Membership Package is completely bespoke to your needs, catering for all budgets. We will provide support wherever it is needed, to ensure your business stays compliant with Health, Safety & Environmental requirements. This may include the preparation of policies and procedures from scratch or undertaking audits of your current management systems and providing detailed reports on areas that need improvement. Or even assisting you in embedding a new culture within your organisation. This package could be used to cover any selection of our services.
Annual Membership (Price agreed)

Our Gold Membership offers you a more comprehensive package for the duration of 12 Months.
The Gold Membership Includes:
- Acting as your named competent Health and Safety Advisor
- Use “South Coast Compliance Ltd” on official documentation such as industry specific accreditations, Tenders & Pre-Qualification Questionnaire’s (PQQ)
- Access to advice by telephone or email
- Support with accident investigation and reporting to the enforcing authority
- Annual Health & Safety Audit and Action Plan
- Two flexible site visits throughout the year with recommendations for improvement
- Preparation/Review of Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Support in the development of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
- Priority access to our suite of training, including bespoke courses
- Up to 15% reduction on our full range of services
- Completion of CHAS/Safe Contractor applications and/or renewal
- Completion of pre-qualification questionnaires
- Regular communications providing legal updates
- Training monitoring service
- Certificate of membership
All memberships are per annum either payable in monthly instalments or as one payment at the beginning of the contract.

The Silver Membership offers you a broad package for the duration of 12 Months.
The Silver Membership Includes:
- Acting as your named competent Health and Safety Advisor
- Use “South Coast Compliance Ltd” on official documentation such as industry specific accreditations, Tenders & Pre-Qualification Questionnaire’s (PQQ)
- Access to advice by telephone or email
- Support with reporting accidents to the enforcing authority
- Annual Health & Safety Audit and Action Plan
- One flexible site visit throughout the year with recommendations for improvement
- Preparation/Review of Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
- Access to the SCC suite of Risk Assessment templates
- Up to 10% reduction on our full range of services
- Support in the completion of CHAS/Safe Contractor applications and/or renewal
- Support in the completion of pre-qualification questionnaires
- Regular communications providing legal updates
- Certificate of membership
All memberships are per annum either payable in monthly instalments or as one payment at the beginning of the contract.
